the log farm

So today I took my mother to the log farm which is where I spent several days a week when I was a kid. Its been bought by lone star and they have it open on weekends as a tearoom. So I figured itd be fun to go and see it once again and have tea. So we headed out and went to see all the animals. they had a 600 pound pig, it was friggin huge! There was also 2 cows, 4 sheep. 4 chickens, a rooster, and 3 horses. They were all cute and we happened to be there when the guy was feeding the animals so we luckily got to see them all, plus he opened all the farmhosue buildings so we could see them again. It was cool. And then we went to the tea shop place where this one lone girl was sitting waiting for people to come. So we sat down and ordered tea. And then looked at the menu, which had a choice of soup and 4 kinds of sandwiches. So she comes bakc and we're like "what kind of soup?" and so we each pick a soup and a sandwich, but it turns out, their out of the stuff to make 2/4 of the sandwiches... so we repick our sandwiches and then she comes back to tell us the kettle is working really slow and can she get us free drinks while we're waiting for our tea, and we're like no its ok don't worry about it. We then proceed to hear her heating up the canned soup in the microwave which i tohught was hilarious!! anyways, it was all very good, but quite comical. Wefelt bad for the poor girl who was running around trying to make stuff without any ingredients. Oh and then they had no milk for the tea so she was trying to call someone to bring us some... =) I think the management assumes no one will come so they dont stock up and so the poor girl that works there gets stuck telling people they dont have anything. So it sucks for her, but we had a good time. The rest of the day has been spent cleaning my room more =S It is progressing though, its stopped getting more messy and has started to look better. Anywho, studio starts tomrorow which is frightening... but we'll see how it goes.

back to cleaning
au revoir
